Process Engineer, Columbus, OH area
Responsible for providing daily manufacturing technical support to improve production efficiencies. Provide technical support for day-to-day operational activities, leadership for continuous improvement projects, and act as a critical liaison between the Operations Team and the Technical Team.
Develop processes to maximize capacity utilization, minimize cost and ensure statistically sound product performance.
Provide technical support to production and maintenance engineering.
Maintain manufacturing practice and procedures to optimize product quality/performance.
Develop and implement process or product improvement projects
Lead and / or participate in continuous improvement and six sigma project teams
Skilled in managing complex engineering projects.
Have experience or background with ferrous or non-ferrous metals.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience
B.S. in Metallurgy, Material Science or Mechanical Engineering
